Kitchen Cabinet Prices in Florida: 2026 Buyer’s Guide

Kitchen Cabinet Prices in Florida: 2026 Buyer’s Guide

Cabinet pricing in Florida spans a wide range, and most of that range comes down to construction quality and how much of the cabinet is custom-built versus selected from an existing catalog. Understanding the tiers helps you set realistic expectations and avoid overpaying for features you don’t need — or under-buying and replacing cabinets again in five years.

Entry-level stock cabinets cover the basics: pre-set sizes, a limited set of finishes, and (depending on the brand) particleboard or plywood boxes. They’re the fastest to get and the least expensive up front, but sizing constraints mean fillers and gaps in kitchens with unusual dimensions. Semi-custom lines — like Fabuwood Galaxy, Luna, and Echo, which we carry — deliver a premium look with strong value: plywood box construction, soft-close hardware and dovetail drawers as standard, shipped fully assembled, with far more size and finish flexibility than stock. Full custom offers unlimited configuration — exact dimensions, matched finishes across rooms, and one-off details — at a higher price point and longer lead time, and makes the most sense for irregular layouts or a design that needs to match built-ins elsewhere in the home.

Beyond the boxes themselves, factor in installation, countertops, hardware, and delivery, since these line items commonly add 30-50% on top of the cabinet price and are often left out of a quick online estimate. Installation complexity varies with plumbing and electrical relocations, soffit removal, and whether the existing layout is being kept or reconfigured. Countertops alone can range from budget laminate to premium quartz or natural stone, and hardware (knobs, pulls, soft-close upgrades) is a smaller but real line item that adds up across a full kitchen.

A rough way to think about tiers in 2026: stock cabinetry for a standard-size kitchen tends to be the most budget-friendly but comes with the most compromises; semi-custom sits in the middle and covers the large majority of remodels well; full custom is reserved for kitchens where standard modules genuinely don’t fit the space or the vision. We provide transparent, itemized quotes so you know exactly what you are paying for at each tier — cabinets, hardware, countertops and installation broken out separately rather than bundled into one number.

If you’re comparing quotes from multiple companies, ask each one to itemize the same categories so you’re comparing apples to apples rather than a low cabinet price that hides a high installation charge, or vice versa.
