Transitional
Grey Transitional Island
$1,299.00
Designed as a kitchen island rather than a wall run, this piece is built to be seen from every side, so all exposed panels get the same finished, furniture-grade treatment as the doors. The Transitional profile splits the difference between ornate traditional detailing and stark modern slabs — a recessed panel with clean lines — and the mid-tone grey finish is chosen to anchor a kitchen without competing with the countertop or flooring. Because islands take more abuse than perimeter cabinets, the box uses the same reinforced plywood and dovetail drawer construction as the rest of our line, upgraded here with heavier-duty drawer glides to support the extra weight of pots, mixers and cutting boards. It's typically configured with a mix of drawers and cabinet storage, and can be built to accommodate seating overhang, a prep sink or an appliance garage on request.
